David Copperfield, the Jewish magician of the 80s and 90s has had enough of the upstart pretensions that other famous wizard, Harry Potter. In this Funny or Die video, he accuses the Boy Who Lived of ripping off his act.
Among the spooky similarities between Copperfield and Potter — both have invisibility cloaks, both have friends named Ron and both have fraught relationships with Snape (or the actor who played him). “One time I met Alan Rickman and he was a total dick to me,” Copperfield claimed.
All of this plagiarism has left Copperfield with few options. “I have no choice but to cast a litigation spell,” he said.
Even Hermione has never tried that one.
