(JTA) — The cause of a fire that destroyed a Chabad preschool in Brooklyn is under investigation.

The Educational Institute Oholei Torah School in East Flatbush was destroyed on Sunday morning, the New York Daily News reported. No one was in the building. The school normally serves about 100 children aged 3 to 5.

Several fire companies fought the hourlong blaze.

School officials told reporters that classes will be held elsewhere until they can rebuild.
