NEW YORK (JTA) — The board of directors of Hillel: The Foundation for Jewish Campus Life elected New York businessman Thomas Blumberg as its next chairman.
The board made its choice of Blumberg, a marketing, branding, and organizational development consultant who was the former principal of the Leviton Manufacturing Company, on Monday. He will take the post in July, succeeding Bea Mandel of Los Angeles.
“I am honored by the trust that the board has placed in me,” said Blumberg, who has been associated with Hillel for more than a decade. “I look forward to building on the foundation created by my predecessors to help Hillel serve Jewish college students the world over.”
