To the Editor:
The German comedian used the word "Arbeit" (labor), but not the words "Macht" (makes) or ‘Frei’ (peace). Can the use of only a single word in a joke, the word Arbeit, by itself be an insult to victims of the Holocaust? In fact his language about making work worthwhile looks much more like he is making fun of the German pope’s latest encyclical on social justice or the East German "workers’ paradise" than about the Holocaust.
