The CEO of the Jewish Agency’s North American branch, Maxyne Finkelstein, will leave her position when her contract is up, Finkelstein said in an email to Jewish agency officials Tuesday.
Here is her email:
I apologize if you already received this message but for those who have not, I wanted to let you know that today I announced that I will be leaving my position at the Jewish Agency in mid July 2010 when I complete my contract. While it is still six months away, I wanted to let you know how much I have enjoyed working with our New York Members and our entire staff and delegation of Shlichim in North America and seeing your dedication and contribution to the mission of JAFI. Please feel free to be in touch with me if you have any questions or concerns. I will be traveling for work until next Tuesday but I am available by email or on my cell phone.
Maxyne Finkelstein
CEO JAFI North America
