The New York Police Department’s Hate Crimes Task Force is investigating the dropping of hand-written “Kill Jews” leaflets around several Brooklyn neighborhoods in recent weeks.

Bay Ridge was the latest target shortly after Yom Kippur last week, but prior incidents took place in Boerum Hill.

“The police have not been able to find witnesses, or the leaflets,” said David Pollock of the Jewish Community Relations Council.

The police are urging anyone with information to call the Hate Crimes Task Force at (646) 610-5267.
The Daily News quoted Ed Karasik, president of the Bay Ridge Jewish Center, as saying the anti-Semitic activity was an “ongoing problem” in the area. But another member, who declined to be identified when reached by The Jewish Week, said he was unaware of the leaflets or any other incidents.
