JERUSALEM (JTA) — A 60-year-old woman became Israel’s 30th person to die after contracting swine flu.
The woman had several other medical conditions.
Her death Sunday in a Tel Aviv hospital comes a day after an Israeli woman with no underlying medical problems died after contracting swine flu.
The woman who died Saturday had been hospitalized in Petach Tikvah for two weeks. She died due to a weakening of her immune system, a complication caused by the virus.
