JERUSALEM (JTA) — Israel’s Air Force struck two weapons smuggling tunnels in the Gaza Strip.
The attack Wednesday night was in response to a Kassam rocket fired at Israel from Gaza several hours earlier, according to the Israel Defense Forces. The rocket hit an open area in southern Israel, causing no casualties or damage, the IDF said.
On Tuesday night, Israeli airstrikes hit three smuggling tunnels on the Gaza-Egyptian border following the firing of two Kassam rockets at Israel earlier in the day.
