JERUSALEM (JTA) — Palestinian gunmen shot an Israeli civilian in the West Bank.
The Israeli driver was moderately wounded Tuesday evening when Palestinians opened fire on him outside the Jewish settlement of Shiloh, located between Ramallah and Nablus. He was evacuated by helicopter to a hospital.
The man drove to the outpost of Kida before calling for help.
"I can confirm it was a terrorist attack," police spokesman Mickey Rosenfeld told Israeli and international media.
Also Tuesday evening, two Kassam rockets fired from Gaza hit southern Israel near Ashkelon and the Eshkol region.
