(JTA) — A civilian patrol in a West Bank settlement killed a Palestinian infiltrator armed with a knife.
According to one report, the two-man patrol in Beit Haggai, a Jewish town near Hebron, spotted the infiltrator early Friday. The settlers called out to the man, who produced a knife; one of the settlers shot and killed him. Another report said Israeli army troops alerted the civilian patrol to the infiltrator after spotting him entering the settlement.
Earlier this month, a Palestinian terrorist infiltrated Bat Ayin, another West Bank settlement, and used an axe to kill a 13-year old boy.
