JERUSALEM (JTA) – Palestinian Authority police discovered a Hamas weapons cache in a warehouse in a West Bank city.
Thursday’s discovery in Kalkilya, located about 300 yards from the West Bank security fence and just a few miles from the central Israeli cities of Kfar Saba and Ra’anana, comes a week after the P.A. security forces uncovered an explosives lab in a Kalkilya mosque.
At least seven bombs were found in the warehouse, according to Palestinian reports in Israeli media. Three Palestinian men were arrested in connection with the bombs, which the P.A. police say were stored there by Hamas.
Eight suspects were arrested.
