JERUSALEM (JTA) — Avigdor Lieberman was questioned for a third time by Israeli fraud squad detectives.
Tuesday’s five hours of questioning marks the third time in less than a week that the Foreign Minister and head of the Yisrael Beiteinu party has spoken to police as part of a nearly 13-year investigation.
He is suspected of bribery, money laundering, fraud and breach of trust. He is accused of receiving a bribe through a consulting firm run by his daughter.
Lieberman was interrogated for five hours last Friday and seven hours last Thursday.
He has requested that the investigation be expedited.
