Skinheads attack Jewish Agency employee’s son
MOSCOW (JTA) — Two young men dressed like skinheads attacked the son of a Jewish Agency employee.
The young victim was taken to the hospital March 9 with a head injury, according to a report posted Friday on Fontanka.ru.
The assailants, dressed in military clothes with close-cropped hair, crossed the main road in St. Petersburg, Nevsky Prospekt, to confront the son of the Jewish Agency employee and his friend, the report said.
The victim was injured seriously when he fell and hit his head, causing serious injury. As he lay on the ground, the attackers kicked him in the legs. Dozens witnesses the incident.
The assailants ran when the signal to cross the street changed to green, according to Fontanka.ru. Bystanders then picked up the victim and took him to a doctor.
The victim’s mother said her son remains hospitalized with a brain injury.
