JERUSALEM (JTA) — At least three Kassam rockets hit southern Israel.
Two rockets fired Wednesday morning from Gaza did not cause any injuries or damage.Another Kassam and a mortar shell hit southern Israel late Wednesday evening.
On Tuesday night, Israel’s Air Force struck two smuggling tunnels in southern Gaza that reportedly were being used to bring arms into Gaza. The army said it scored direct hits on the tunnels. Also Tuesday, the Air Force struck a rocket cell in Gaza, injuring three.
Four rockets were fired Tuesday on Israel from Gaza.
Meanwhile, on Wednesday, an air raid siren sounded in northern Israel in an apparent false alarm. Two women were treated for shock.
