Latin American Jewish official re-elected

Brazilian Jack Terpins was unanimously re-elected president of the Latin American Jewish Congress.

RIO DE JANEIRO (JTA) — Brazilian Jack Terpins was unanimously re-elected president of the Latin American Jewish Congress.

The election took place Monday at the World Jewish Congress meeting in Jerusalem.

A longtime activist in Brazil, Terpins, 61, recently finished his term as president of the Brazilian Israelite Confederation, Brazil’s Jewish umbrella organization.
