Ukraine’s president met with an Israeli-American businesswoman to discuss investment in the Ukrainian economy.
Shari Arison, chairwoman of the Arison Business Group, met with Ukrainian President Victor Yushchenko Wednesday to discuss posssible avenues of investment, including projects in preparation for the Euro 2012 European soccer championship and projects within the agricultural sector.
Chairman of the Board of Bank Hapoalim Dan Dankner and Arison Business Group CEO Efrat Peled also took part in the meeting.
During a state visit to Israel in November, Yuschenko and Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmer discussed a wide range of economic issues, especially how to boost bilateral trade and attract Israeli investment.
