A rocket exploded next to a nursery school in southern Israel.
The rocket fired Friday from the Gaza Strip morning hit the gap between the nursery school and a children’s house in a kibbutz in the Western Negev, media reported. Staff evacuated the children to shelters in time and no one was hurt. It was on of three rockets fired Friday.
Separately, Israeli troops killed a Hamas gunman in a fire fight during a raid into Khan Yunis in southern Gaza.
