Volunteers in Ukraine are putting up free mezuzahs in Dnepropetrovsk.
The Mezuzah for Every Home program is in its third stage, putting up 200 mezuzahs at the homes of local Jewish families who cannot afford mezuzahs on their own.
“All 410 mezuzahs that have been installed in Jewish homes through this program were prepared by the National Soifer Center in Dnepropetrovsk,” said Vyacheslav Brez, Jewish community director in Dnepropetrovsk.
Students at the Nachlas Levi Yeshiva, community volunteers and staff will be making house calls to speak with local Jews about the mitzvah of mezuzah.
