The Knesset’s Christian Allies Caucus will visit its counterpart in Washington.
The 12-member Knesset Christian Allies Caucus, representing seven parties, will be in Washington on March 5 to meet with its U.S. counterpart, the Congressional Israel Allies Caucus.
The Knesset caucus, currently chaired by Benny Elon of the National Union party, was established in 2004 to promote ties with pro-Israel Christian groups, particularly evangelicals.
The Congressional caucus was established in 2006 as its counterpart. Its co-chairman, Rep. Dave Weldon (R-Fla.), was in Israel on Tuesday to meet with the Knesset caucus and plan activities for 2008.
