Three Palestinian policemen are accused of killing a 29-year-old Israeli man in the West Bank.

Ido Zoldan, a resident of the West Bank community of Shavei Shomron, was slain by gunfire as he drove near the Palestinian village of al-Funduk on Nov. 24.

The day after the attack, Israeli soldiers raided a nearby village and arrested two 22-year-old members of Fatah and the Palestinian police force. A third Palestinian policeman accused of the crime was captured by the Palestinian police.

The arrests were announced Sunday after the Israeli army cleared the information for publication.

According to the Jerusalem Post, the accused killers said they decided to carry out the attack to “scare settlers.”
