Israeli troops killed a Palestinian on the Gaza Strip border.
An Israeli patrol spotted a Palestinian approaching the border fence near Karni early Thursday. After he threw an object at the fence, he was shot dead.
It was not immediately clear if the dead man belonged to any Palestinian terrorist groups.
Hamas and other factions regularly attack Israeli troops and positions around Gaza, or send scouts to test the defenses on the border fence.
