A company has changed the name of its “Nazi Collection” linens after complaints from India’s Jewish community.

The home furnishing-company, which agreed Monday to destroy all promotional material for the line, insisted the name stood for “New Arrival Zone for India.”

Furnishings dealer Jagdish Todi met Jewish community leaders to assure them that the family-owned company did not intend to hurt the sentiments of Jews, said Jonathan Solomon, chairman of the Indian Jewish Federation, according to The Associated Press.

Some 5,500 Jews live in the predominately Hindu country. The swastika, associated almost exclusively with Hitler and the Nazis, originally was an ancient Hindu symbol and is displayed in India to bring luck.
