The Reform movement decried the U.S. Senate’s failure to set a timetable for leaving Iraq.
“It is deeply alarming that more than five years after the war began we are still stuck in Iraq without a timetable for withdrawal and with no clear exit strategy,” Reform’s Religious Action Center said after two proposals to set a timetable failed last week in the Senate. “While the Reform Movement has not taken a position on the specific date for a pull out, our 2007 Resolution on Iraq firmly calls for the establishment of timetable for troop withdrawal.”
