An Israeli real-estate tycoon who fled the country after his company went bankrupt was captured.
Italian police arrested Heftsiba chief executive officer Boaz Yona outside Verona on Thursday with the help of Israeli authorities.
Yona, who absconded earlier this month as Heftsiba collapsed, leaving hundreds of customers homeless or with only half-built properties, was reportedly located at a hotel where he was staying with his wife and children.
Israeli police want Yona, who is suspected of embezzlement, repatriated for trial in the coming days.
