Vandals knocked over 23 tombstones in a Jewish cemetery in the Czech Republic. Five of the tombstones were broken, the police reported last Friday.
The 19th-century cemetery in Pisek, a town 62 miles south of Prague, was renovated and opened to the public in 1993. Pisek today has no Jewish community.
