British police arrested a doctor of Palestinian descent in connection with botched car bombings in London and Glasgow.Mohammed Asha, 27, was taken into custody along with a woman believed to be his wife after last week’s incidents. According to British and Jordanian officials, Asha was born to a Palestinian migrant family in Saudi Arabia and trained in Amman before moving to a town outside London in 2005.The attempted attacks, attributed to al-Qaida, prompted a high-level security alert throughout Britain.
