Israel’s air force killed seven Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
A missile fired by a military aircraft in the southern Gaza town of Khan Younis struck an Islamic Jihad car on Saturday, killing three commanders from the Palestinian terrorist group. Israeli officials said the men targeted were planning a major attack.
Another air strike destroyed a metal foundry in Gaza City which Israeli officials said had been used to manufacture rockets. A senior Al-Aksa Brigades rocketeer was killed, as were his son and two men working in the foundry.
