A teenage girl who attacked a 12-year-old Jewish girl on a London bus last year was found guilty of robbery and attempted robbery. The 14-year-old attacker was sentenced to 10 months in detention and training, but the judge told the court that she likely will serve half the term. The 14-year-old and a friend stole the victim’s bracelet and attacked her, leaving her unconscious, after asking her if she was “Jewish or English.” The court ruled there was not enough evidence to consider the case racially motivated.
