Efforts were underway here this weekend to evict Ralph Forbes, self-styled “gauleiter” of the American Nazi party in California, from his headquarters in a rented house in Glendale.
Jewish War Veterans attorney Sydney Irmas, Jr., acting on behalf of the owners of the property, Al and Dom Rozzano, served an eviction notice on Forbes, demanding the removal of himself and his family from the premises. The owners charge that Forbes implied that he planned to use the house for Republican party work, but that it was being used for Nazi drills and propaganda.
Appearing in court, Forbes denied that he had been served with the notice. The Nazi has also been charged with violating a building ordinance in occupying the Glendale house.
