The 80th anniversary of the Berlin B’nai B’rith lodge later named for the late Rabbi Leo Baeck was celebrated here in the presence of Professor Ferdinand Friedensburg, West Berlin delegate to the Federal Parliament, Provost D. Hein-rich Grueber, and Heinz Galinski, chairman of the Berlin Jewish community. The Leo Baeck lodge was the first B’nai B’rith lodge established outside the United States.
