Joshua Kaminsky, noted author of Jewish books for children and editor of “Kinder Zeitung.” monthly children’s magazine published by the educational department of the Workmen’s Circle, largest Jewish fraternal order, died here today. He was 75 years old.
A special edition of the “Kinder Zeitung” marking his 75th birthday was published in October. Born in Russia, he came to the United States in 1906 and devoted himself to Jewish educational work. He was one of the founders of the Sholem Aleichem schools in this country and of the children’s publishing house “Matones.”
