An experimental shipment of 15 tons of a type of potato new to the Negev will shortly leave for England. The potato, of the Ingheim variety, is normally grown in a cold winter climate but has been raised successfully at the Zeelim settlement in the Negev. If the shipment proves a success, the settlement will increase its acreage for Ingheims.
