The appointment of Dr. Max Weiser as Honorary Consul of Israel in Ecuador, was announced here today. Dr. Weiser, who was born in Stanislaw, Poland, in 1912, is an industrialist, a specialist on cooperatives and a community leader. He has represented the Government of Ecuador at an International Conference on Cooperatives and has traveled throughout South America on behalf of the Joint Distribution Committee.
