A series of scientific papers on various aspects of Jewish life will be presented at a three-day annual conference of the Yiddish Scientific Institute-YIVO which opens here Saturday night.
At the opening session, papers will be read by Professor Horace M. Kallen on “The Jewish Community and the American Idea;” by Professor Simon Rawidowicz “On the 750th Anniversary of the Death of Maimonides.” and by Dr. Jacob Shatsky on “Problems of Jewish Social Science.”
