The Egyptian Government makes no distinction among Moslems, Christians or Jews, Gen. Mohammed Naguib, Egyptian Premier and commander of the armed forces, yesterday told the staff of the Jewish Hospital in Alexandria during a visit to the institution, it was reported here today.
“I am proud and happy to see the good deeds you are performing for the poor and the sick without regard to nationality or religion,” the General said. Signing the hospital’s register at the conclusion of his visit, he wrote that he had found “angels taking care of the sick of all nationalities and religions.”
