With the arrival in Copenhagen of Gen. Kurt Daluege, new Nazi dictator for Denmark, it was predicted in the Swedish press today that the 6,000 Danish Jews will soon be deported to Poland as were the Jews of Norway.

The Dagens Nyheter, a Swedish newspaper, referring to Daluege’s anti-Jewish record, writes that the first act of the leader of the Nazi Elite Guard will be “to start the deportation of all Jews from Denmark in accordance with Hitler’s policy.” Earlier efforts by the Nazi occupational authorities in Denmark to apply their anti-Jewish measures to the Danish Jews met with severe opposition on the part of the King.

The Swedish Supreme Court today confirmed the sentence of two months imprisonment imposed upon Prof. Israel Holgren “for offending a foreign government” in his book “The Nazi Hell.”
