The premises of the Yiddish Scientific Institute in Wilno have remained intact, according to a cable received today by the American Section of the institute from Z. Kalmanowitz, editor-in-chief of the institute’s publications, who is now in Panieviz, not far from Kaunas. He said he was returning to Wilno this week with Dr. Max Weinreich, director of the institute.
