World headquarters of the Yiddish Scientific Institute have been established temporarily in New York and the organization’s work will be conducted by the institute’s American section, it was announced today. The institute’s center was in Wilno, Poland, which was subjected to bombardment during the German invasion and is now occupied by the Soviet Army.
