The Panamanian steamer Partis sailed from Constanza for Palestine today with 600 Jewish emigrants on board. Two more Panamanian ships, the Papetta and the Colorado, arrived at Constanza yesterday and will sail over the weekend with approximately 1,000 emigrants.
A Jewish refugees’ home will be opened shortly at the Black Sea resort of Carmen Silva, near Constanza, where several hundred awaiting emigration opportunities will be accommodated.
It was learned reliably, meanwhile, that Rumanian frontier guards have received official instructions not to send back foreign Jews who have succeeded in crossing the Rumanian border.
