Professor Ismar Elbogen, noted Jewish scholar, is leaving for the United States to settle there permanently. His Jewish research work was lauded by Chief Rabbi Leo Baeck at a farewell meeting attended by professors and students of the Jewish Institute of Science. Dr. Elbogen was guest lecturer at the Jewish Institute of Religion in New York in 1922 and 1923. The scholar, who is 64 years old, is known for his historical research and his work in editing Jewish encyclopedias and other works.
