Creation of a Jewish Cinema Institute, which will produce films urging Jewish emigration, depicting life in Palestine, and present plays interpreted by Jewish actors, was authorized today by the Propaganda Ministry. At the same time Der Stuermer, Julius Streicher’s anti-Semitic newspaper, urged that Jews be forbidden to enter theaters and cinemas.
Fifteen hundred persons, most of them Jews, have been deprived of German citizenship by the Nazi regime, it was estimated tonight. The Reich official Monitor today made public 30 more names added to the list by Interior Ministry decree.
