The World Conference of the Jewish Scientific Institute, marking the tenth anniversary of that body, opened here today with representatives present from 13 countries.
Prof. Sime on Dubnow, noted Jewish historian, opened the conference. Greetings were received from Prof. Albert Einstein and Dr. Sigmund Freud, both members of the honorary praesidium of the Institute.
The Conference will last until Sunday evening, and will consider a number of Jewish cultural and social problems.
The American delegation consists of Dr. J. Shatsky, Nathan Feinerman and Louis Segal. There are also numerous American guests in attendance at the conference.
