Col. Benjamin Evarts, president of the New England Zionist Region, will be included in the delegation of the Zionist Organization of America which will attend the Nineteenth World Zionist Congress in Lucerne, it was announced here today. Mr. Evarts polled tenth in the elections held at the recent annual convention of the Zionist Organization at Atlantic City. The inability of several other delegates to take advantage of their mandates makes Mr. Evarts the next eligible delegate.
As president of the New England Zionist Region, Mr. Evarts brought forty delegates to the Zionist convention, one of the largest delegations sent by any part of the country.
