State and city officials will initiate a campaign for $100,000 for the Beth David Hospital at a reception tonight in the Ball Room of the Hotel Commodore, it was announced by Charles D. Loventhal, treasurer of the institution.
United States Senator Royal S. Copeland, Supreme Court Justice Samuel Rosenman, Magistrate Louis B. Brodsky, and Magistrate Benjamin Greenspan will be guests of honor at the function.
The Beth David Hospital is located at Lexington avenue and 113th street, in the lower Harlem district. It recently purchased a new building, now occupied by the Manhattan General Hospital, which will increase the present bed capacity to 250 beds.
