Dora Lappin, soprano, will make her first recital appearance in Washington since her return from Italy in a concert with Norman Frauenheim, pianist. The concert will be given in the auditorium of the Jewish Community Center Tuesday evening.
Mme. Lappin made her operatic debut at Spezia, Italy, in 1931, as Micaela in Carmen and later sang Nedda from Pagliacci and other lyric soprano roles. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Steerman, of Washington, and is well-known to Washington Jewry.
