Classes in higher Hebrew have been started by the newly-organized Western Jewish Institute and hope is held that courses of the Institute will be accepted for credits at California universities, Rabbi S. M. Neches, who is directing the work, announced today.
The Western Jewish Institute was established here in a program effort to raise the standards of the Talmud Torahs of the Southwest. Samuel Reichler, Los Angeles attorney, is its president.
