The municipal government of Jerusalem, the Holy City of Judaism, Christianity and Mohammedanism, will be headed by a Moslem, a Jew and a Christian.

Raged Bey Nashishibi, former mayor, was reappointed to that post by the new city council. Haym Salomon and Jacob Faradj were elected vice-mayors.
