The meeting will be addressed by native Americans as well as representatives of all races in America, and will call upon the audience to make known to Congress that the masses of American citizens are unequivocally opposed to any legislation which encourages racial discrimination and favors one race at the expense of others.
Among the speakers will be Governor Alfred E. Smith, Lieut. Governor George Richard Lunn, Senator Royal S. Copeland, Dr. Stephen S. Wise, Judge Salvatore Cotillo, Joseph Barondess, Congressman Nathan D. Perlman, Congressman Fiorello K. La Guardia, Congressman Samuel Dickstein.
Twenty-two organizations among whom are: Order Sons of Italy, Slavonie Immigrant Society, Steuben Society of America, Ukrainian Defense League, Lithuanian Roman Catholic Alliance of America, American Jewish Congress, Czecho Slovak Fraternal Benevolent Societ, and others whose memberships include American citizens of eleven nationalities, will be represented at the meeting.
