With the rate of intermarriage through the roof, it would seem like a top priority. When my husband was first divorced about 20+ years ago, he approached his then rabbi at a Reform synagogue in central Connecticut. The rabbi showed virtually no interest and never followed up with him. For the past several years, this same rabbi has been assiduously recruiting homosexual members for his temple.
