Just as bad as the omission on the part of our Pres., is the silence of the Jews who voted for him. Perhaps they are not even aware of how the Jews were treated by the countries that they had lived in for thousands of years. If Israel would take from the Arabs who live in Israel we would never hear the end of that from our Jewish American friends or from the U.N.

I thought the art of negotiating was not telling your advesary what you are willing to give on before you start the process. I guess its ok for the vp to announce what Israel must do but does not do the same thing for the Palestinians. He must think its ok to have for the Palestinian government to call for the destruction of Israel. It appears that he thinks that stopping the building of settlements is at the same level of symetry as wiping a country off the map.

This seems to be a "a non-discriminatory Seder." Perhaps it was the first one they attended and it will probably be the last. Just as a number of traditional items were not part of the Sedar that includes Kippot. I have a hard time thinking that so many of those people really felt that they personnally came out of Egypt. Fortunately that first group all died off before they could enter the "Promised Land." Perhaps they were part of the riff-raft that left Egypt with the Israelites.
